  • Assist board with recruitment decisions, including job description and determining appropriate skillset required
  • Utilize online recruitment system to post open positions and increase applicant pool
  • Narrow applicant pool to most qualified candidates
  • Conduct interviews, background checks and reference checks
  • Research and provide wage recommendations
  • Schedule pre-employment drug screening
  • Provide reports on employee turnover compared to industry averages

Benefit Plan Design

  • Design, implement and manage benefit plan; includes researching plan options and associated costs, as well as meeting with insurance companies
  • Prepare necessary documents, educate employees on benefits, answer employee questions and assist with sign-up process


  • Consult on personnel file requirements
  • Consult on federal and state employment law and regulatory compliance (FMLA, FLSA, immigration law)
  • Review and provide recommendation on employee manuals, policies and procedures
  • Provide supervisory training
  • Design and provide employee exit interviews
  • Manage organizational chart and job classification guides
  • Consult on volunteer and intern management
